Azerbaijan's constitutional court has approved the results of a snap presidential election held on 11 April that resulted in another seven years in power for President Ilham Aliyev, writes Kama Mustafayeva.

Earlier, the Central Election Commission (CEC) said Aliyev won 86% of votes in the poll to put him in line for a fourth term. According to the CEC, the turnout was about 75% and there were no complaints about irregularities.
