Chevron has started holding crucial meetings with four groups battling to provide a floating production, storage and offloading vessel for the US supermajor’s deep-water Rosebank project off the UK.
Industry sources said this is the second round of meetings Chevron has held with bidders since they submitted their technical and commercial offers in early March, signalling that the operator is moving ahead on the process with serious intent.
