Private independent Chrysaor has contracted Rowan Drilling jack-up Gorilla VII for a drilling campaign in UK waters that will run for an initial term of up to 18 months.
The first well, a sidetrack at the Maria field in the Armada area, is expected to be spudded in early May, Chrysaor said. The contract includes an option for a two-year extension.
