Shell plans to gradually switch emphasis from oil to gas as part of its plans to become an energy transition group, writes Terry Macalister.
There will be no sudden and major disposal of its crude interests but more an incremental move to a 75:25 mix of gas to oil.
Currently the level is half and half, with crude production gradually reducing while gas output increases.
