ConocoPhillips is to cut about 450 jobs in the UK as the company’s operations in the southern gas basin wind down.
The US operator said the positions will be cut across its UK assets between 1 October this year and April 2020.
It follows a voluntary redundancy programme being carried out due to the planned halt of its southern North Sea production through the Theddlethorpe Gas Terminal later this year.
