The PSA served Eni with a notification of order, three days after the Goliat FPSO lost all power from shore, causing production to be stopped.
PSA chief executive Anne Myhrvold told Upstream the agency had ordered Eni to rectify the problem before resuming production from the field.
“We have instructed Eni to investigate the incident and implement necessary measures to avoid further incidents,” she said.
