Owners NYK and Sovcomflot handed over the 145,700-cbm Tangguh Batur (built 2008), which was delivered from Daewoo Shipbuilding&Marine Engineering in December, to the project team on 30 January. This week the project took delivery of the 155,000-cbm newbuilding Tangguh Palung from K Line and Meratus Line.
The vessels join four 2008-built sisters - the 155,000-cbm Tangguh Foja, Tangguh Hiri, Tangguh Jaya and 145,700-cbm Tangguh Towuti - that have started their long-term charters with the delayed project.
