Exxoil clinched the deal with Oil Field Services Company to drill two onshore exploration wells.
The first probe is scheduled to spud in July or August this year on the Zita prospect in the Ras Mamour Permit, while another will go down on the Serdouk prospect in the Grombalia licence by year-end.
Oil Field Services will use its Franks Cabot 900 rig to carry out the drilling.
