The EPC contract covers the liquefaction plant and associated facilities for the project, which will be built about 20 kilometres from Port Moresby on the Gulf of Papua.
The workscope will include the facilities to process, liquefy, store and load 6.3 million tonnes per annum of LNG.
The partners intend to award this downstream EPC contract by late 2009 to enable the winner to start building in the following year.
