Keppel Offshore & Marine is in the final stages of testing its speculative-build deep-water development and completion drillship Can Do.
The hull of the drillship was built by IHI Corporation in Japan, and arrived in Singapore last January.
Since then, Keppel has been installing topsides modules and carrying out commissioning tasks.
Keppel Offshore & Marine chief executive Chris Ong said the drillship “is scheduled to be ready for the market in the fourth quarter this year”.
