Singapore-based player Pavilion Gas has taken its first liquefied natural gas cargo from Qatargas under its Energy Market Authority (EMA) LNG Importer Licence.
The spot cargo arrived on a Qatargas-owned Q-flex carrier in Singapore on 8 April.
The LNG will be regasified and delivered to the wholly-owned subsidiary of Pavilion Energy's downstream customers in Singapore.
Under this EMA licence, issued in October last year, Pavilion has exclusivity to market LNG for three years or up to 1 million tonnes per annum, whichever is earlier.
