With the latest deal, H&P has now booked 26 newbuild orders in the 2014 fiscal year, from seven different operators, and has already delivered eight.
H&P will continue to build new rigs at a rate of about two per month through the rest of the year, the company said in its latest investor presentation, and it continues to negotiate additional newbuilds with customers.
