The most serious incident was in mid-2001 when one of its Chinese seismic crew was badly injured in a rocket attack, which killed the Pakistani driver of the vehicle carrying BGP's team.
"We had to fly the wounded man to a hospital and get the crew away from danger," says BGP president Xu Wenrong.
"It cost us about $150,000. We had to pay for hospital costs in Pakistan, then we had to get him back to Beijing for more treatment.
