Danish vessel owner Maersk Supply Service has been awarded a contract from Quadrant Energy in Australia for its two newbuild Starfish-class anchor-handling tug suppy vessels, writes Josh Lewis.

Operator Quadrant will use the Maersk Mariner and the Maersk Master to support a three-well drilling campaign off the coast of Western Australia.

“We are excited about having our two new-built Starfish vessels, Maersk Master and Maersk Mariner, operating together on this programme,” Maersk head of commercial for Asia Pacific David Lofthouse said.
