Bangladesh has received its maiden cargo of liquefied natural gas, which was delivered to Excelerate Energy’s floating storage and regasification unit at Moheshkhali Island, near the port of Chittagong, now known as Chattogram.
The initial cargo from Qatar’s RasGas arrived a day ahead of schedule to the FSRU, which has a send-out capacity of 500 million cubic feet per day of gas.
