Malaysia Marine & Heavy Engineering (MMHE) is poised to secure a much-needed construction contract related to a processing module for the Pluto platform off Australia.
Industry sources said the contract will be secured from TechnipFMC, which landed the main engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning contract in June for the 1500-tonne module.
The module, which will be installed on the existing Pluto production platform, will consist of facilities for water separation and treatment, together with upgraded power generation units.
