The new operator of the Bonaparte gas fields in Australia that are reserved for potential liquefied natural gas export is making plans for some of the offshore wells, writes Russell Searancke.

UK-based Neptune Energy last month completed the acquisition of previous operator Engie E&P International, which held assets that were previously under the name of GDF Suez.
