A key UK offshore safety committee was finally due to meet this week after concerns were raised about the postponement of two previous meetings.

The tripartite Offshore Major Accident Hazards Advisory Committee (OMAHAC) was set to come together on Thursday 29 March, nine months after the last meeting took place on 21 June 2017.

The UK Health & Safety Executive confirmed the meeting was due to go ahead, a day after Upstream went to press.
