Vietnam’s Phu Quy Petroleum Company is likely to return to drilling action next year in its offshore permit in the Cuu Long basin, which contains at least two oil discoveries.
The Phu Quy joint venture owns Block 15-1/05 and is comprised of PetroVietnam E&P, US independent Murphy Oil and South Korea’s SK Innovation.
Block 15-1/05 hosts the Lac Da Nau oil discovery from November 2009 and the Lac Da Vang oil find from August 2010.
