Abu Dhabi is prioritising several complex gas field developments that could add more than 1.5 billion cubic feet per day of production over the next three to five years with the aim of reducing its dependence on imported gas, writes Nishant Ugal.
In addition to the Umm Shaif Gas Cap reservoir project, Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (Adnoc) plans to invest a potential $20 billion to develop the Hail & Ghasha, Dalma, Nasr and Shuwaihat sour gas fields.
