Malaysian oil and gas companies Sapura Exploration & Production and Hibiscus Petroleum have been very active so far this year pressing ahead with their growth plans, writes Russell Searancke.
Sapura E&P, the upstream subsidiary of Sapura Energy, has been especially busy, making a final investment decision on the phase one development of Block SK408 off Sarawak, and securing new offshore exploration acreage in Mexico and New Zealand — its first overseas ventures.
