Petronas is making steady progress with the construction of its second giant floating liquefied natural gas vessel, but is not necessarily in a hurry to build another, writes Russell Searancke.

Adnan Zainal Abidin, the company’s vice president for LNG assets and upstream, said in a recent presentation that the second FLNG vessel — PFLNG Dua — is 84% complete, with sail-away planned in February 2020.
