Statoil and its partners in the Verbier discovery in the Moray Firth off the UK are committing funds so new seismic data can be gathered over the accumulation and surrounding acreage, writes Rob Watts.
Operator Statoil and its minority partners Jersey Oil & Gas (JOG) and Cieco Exploration & Production are to pre-fund a 3D seismic survey over parts of licence P2170, which contains blocks 20/5b & 21/1d, home to Verbier and the Cortina prospect.
