Norwegian independent Spirit Energy has drilled a successful appraisal well at its Fogelberg gas and condensate discovery off Norway, writes Steve Marshall.
The 6506/9-2S probe uncovered “better reservoir quality”, with a deeper gas-water contact, than that seen in the discovery well after being sunk by semi-submersible Island Innovator in Spirit-operated production licence 433, according to partner Faroe Petroleum.
