UK-listed EnQuest has completed repair work at the Sullom Voe terminal on the Shetland Islands after a "minor defect" identified last week during a routine inspection of pipework led to a shutdown.

The completion of repairs has allowed production to resume flowing from platforms linked to the Brent and Ninian pipeline systems in the UK North Sea.

“EnQuest can confirm that repairs to the process pipework at Sullom Voe terminal are now complete and the incoming Brent and Ninian pipeline systems are operating,” a spokesperson for Sullom Voe and Ninian pipeline operator EnQuest said.
