The crisis over Iran's nuclear programme has in recent weeks reached a stage where somewhat unexpectedly all sorts of opportunities have arisen for Tehran and its Western critics to resolve their differences, thus opening the way for a long list of vital energy projects promoted by Opec's second-biggest producer to get off the ground.
