The US rig count saw another sizeable increase in the latest week with the tally of units targeting oil climbing by 11 and those drilling for natural gas holding steady.
The number of rigs drilling for oil rose to a total of 808, according to the weekly tally by energy services firm Baker Hughes, which is 136 more than the same time in 2017.
