The chief executive of US onshore producer Centennial Resources has warned that a lack of takeaway capacity for natural gas in the Permian basin of Texas and New Mexico could see producers paying to get their product to market.
Centennial chief executive Mark Papa said natural gas production growth in the basin, from both associated gas and from Apache's massive Alpine High development, could outpace current infrastructure.
