Australia’s Woodside Petroleum, which has extensive existing and planned liquefied natural gas operations, has become the ninth major to sign the Guiding Principles that commit companies to reduce methane emissions from the natural gas assets they operate, writes Amanda Battersby.
“Woodside also agrees to encourage others across the natural gas value chain — from production to the final consumer — to do the same,” the company said.
