“They finished the drilling, they finished the fracture operations and they are observing the well now,” TPAO chief executive Besim Sisman told Upstream at the World Petroleum Congress in Moscow.
Sisman added that Shell was performing a flow test.
Shell is expected to drill up to 20 wells testing what it believes is a liquids-rich portion of the Dadas shale, and possibly other unconventional targets at the Saribugday gas field in the Anatolian basin.
