The company said in a registration statement with the US Securities & Exchange Commission that it plans to offer 75 million common units in the IPO, but did not disclose an estimated price range for the units.
Exco Partners plans to list its units on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol "XP", Reuters reported.
Exco Resources said in July that it planned to form Esco Partners and then take it public.
