The orders, worth GBP 1.15 million ($1.85 million), form part of an existing contract with Talisman and comprise Plexus’ standard 10,000 psi equipment for the Isbjorn well and its proprietary POS-GRIP 18-3/4-inch 15,000 psi high pressure/high temperature wellhead equipment for the Frode well.
Both wells will be drilled by the Maersk Giant rig, which recently arrived in Norway following the completion of upgrades and class renewal work.
