Halcon said in its latest investor presentation that it spud the Horseshoe Hill 11-22H-1 on 14 March of this year in Wilkinson County, Mississippi, in what it calls the eastern part of the play. The company had previously drilled on the western side.
Horseshoe Hill is the first of five Halcon wells planned in Wilkinson County between March and July, with the next set to spud on 8 April.
