Speaking at the inauguration of Excelerate´s second liquefied natural gas import facility, the UK-based Teesside GasPort, Excelerate chief executive Kathleen Eisbrenner said the company needs the vessels to supply eight to 11“market access points”that it hopes to build.

Each of these terminals would require one to two regasification vessels.

She mentioned projects in Pakistan, South America, the Middle East, Germany and Italy as potential prospects for the future and said the company would love to have import points off Florida and the US West Coast, although she admited these two are not the company´s focus at present.
