Oil from Matterhorn is piped into a ChevronTexaco-operated pipeline at South Pass block 49, while the gas goes through El Paso's Viosca Knoll pipeline.
Both conduits are still shut down following Hurricane Ivan, denying access to production facilities such as Matterhorn.
