Another key Corocoro package was slated this week for imminent award with four Venezuelan contractors vying for the engineering project management services contract (EPMS).
The contenders are understood to be Otepi, a Venezuelan consulting group acting in partnership with Intec, Inelectra and Technip (UK), Tecnoconsultant and Foster Wheeler (UK), Yanez Associates with Zetal, and finally Depica with the Wood Group.
Bidding rules state this job will be awarded to a domestic company with a qualified non-Venezuelan partner.
