The seismic data can be acquired and processed by the contractor by either ocean-bottom cable or ocean-bottom nodes technology but not a mix of the two as per the tender requirement.
The seismic work has been divided into two jobs — the acquisition of 1600 square kilometres of 4C-3D seismic in the Mumbai High field and the acquisition of 375 square kilometres of 4C-3D seismic at Heera.
