The Agete-1 wildcat was drilled by land rig Sakson-PR5 to a total depth of 1930 metres. It has de-risked several prospects to the north and is also on trend with all Twiga South, Ekales and Ngamia discoveries.
The well will be suspended after logging for future flow testing, which Tullow and 50% equity partner Africa Oil hope will confirm estimated net pay before the rig mobilises to spud Ewo-1.
