Sources said commercial contracts are expected to be signed this month to allow delivery of the first rig in early 2017 and the second in the third quarter of the same year.
Able to operate in water depths of 400 feet, the CJ50 is one of GustoMSC’s CJ series of cantilever drilling rigs, which range from the CJ46, which can operate in waters up to 375 feet deep, to the CJ70, which can operate in up to 500 feet of water.
