The operator and its minority partner, Nobel Oil, are currently producing from 1.1 million to 1.5 million cubic metres per day of gas from two wells at Umid but need technical and financial help to boost production further.
Located 40 kilometres offshore in 60 metres of water, Umid’s estimated resources are 200 billion cubic metres of gas and 270 million barrels of condensate.
