Authorities in Singapore have put semi-submersible drilling rig Songa Venus up for auction following a court ruling in August that invites “all interested parties” to bid for the purchase of the rig by private treaty, writes Xu Yihe.
Bids require a deposit of US$50,000, which will be returned to unsuccessful companies, and be submitted no later than October 30 this year, according to a statement from the Sheriff of Singapore.
