ExxonMobil is aiming to finalise shortly a preferred development option for the expansion of the Papua New Guinea liquefied natural gas plant.
The concept will then be presented to the PNG government and this will lead to the negotiation of a final gas agreement, prior to entry into front-end engineering and design in the second half of 2018, said co-venturer Oil Search.
