A former McDermott yard in Scotland could be about to get a new life once again servicing the North Sea oil industry after an expression of interest was made to seek planning approval.
Ardersier Port Ltd has given notice to the Highland Council that it may seek permission for construction work at the closed facility at Whiteness, near Inverness in the Moray Firth.
