Russian independent Novatek is planning to spend around 120 billion roubles ($1.85 billion) on construction of a specialised yard in Kola Bay near the port of Murmansk.
Speaking last week at a government meeting chaired by Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, Novatek chairman Leonid Mikhelson said the company will make all the required investments “on its own, without attracting any partners”.
