Culzean’s facilities include a floating storage and offloading vessel for the field’s condensate, writes Amanda Battersby.

The vessel is being constructed by Modec of Japan at Sembmarine’s Tuas Mega Yard in Singapore under an engineering, procurement and construction contract.

Modec’s subsidiary Sofec is designing and supplying the internal turret mooring system.

The FSO is titled Ailsa after an internal competition at Maersk to come up with a name for the unit.
