A consortium containing Italy's Saipem has scooped the $750 million contract to supply the jackets for two offshore platforms at the $28 billion gas project.
BOS Shelf and Star Gulf FZCO are also part of the consortium that in addition will supply 2300 subsea structures weighing a total of 30,000 tonnes.
The subsea fabrication scope includes eight sub-sea isolation valve structures, 10 flow-line termination assemblies, 80 walking anchors, 100 subsea tie-in piping spools, 100 pipeline crossing supports, 1000 concrete mattresses and 1000 tonnes of current transfer zone foundations.
