Authorities are continuing to tackle theoil that was found at state-owned player Petrotrin’s Pointe-a-Pierre port arounda fortnight ago. Oil has also washed up on some beaches, especially in the LaBrea area of south-west Trinidad.
The Ministry of Energy and Energy Affairs(MEEA) has received the preliminary report from the Institute of Marine Affairs(IMA) into oil samples collected from La Brea and Pointe-a-Pierre.
