While the contracts were signed with leading shipyards in South Korea, the work will be carried out in the Aasta Hansteen and Gina Krog fields in the Norwegian North Sea and the Mariner field in the British North Sea.
ABB will provide internal and external telecommunications systems for the three projects.
The orders were booked in the fourth quarter of 2013 and the first quarter of 2014 with the systems to be ready for delivery by 2015.
