The subsidiary of Chinese oil giant Sinopecwill now have the Atwood Aurora for two years off Cameroon, the US-based rigowner said.
The dayrate inclusive of 15% Cameroonianwithholding tax is $185,000, down from $193,000 when the original one-year dealwas unveiled in May last year.
At that time, Atwood expected the contractto begin in February. The company said on Thursday, however, that it will beginin July and run to July 2016.
