The firstof the units, with a design life of 30 years, is due for delivery in 2016 fromAker Solutions’ local subsea equipment manufacturing plant at Curitiba.
The companyaims to double capacity at the plant by 2015, having suffered earlier costlydelays with subsea equipment deliveries, as it bolsters its fabricationcapability in line with Brazilian demands for local content on offshoreprojects.
